Class is Back in Session!

Join us on Sept. 19th as we kick-off our 2018-19 Chapter Year!

ARMA Golden Gate is excited to start our new Chapter year with a discussion on Auto-Classificaiton.  Every Information Professional's dream!

Classification is for the Robots

TOPIC:  Automating the application of information management rules has been the dream of many information professionals for decades.  Our ability, as humans, to generate content grows exponentially each passing year, but our ability to manage that content hasn’t kept pace.  Enter the age of auto-classification!  This session will explore the state of auto-classification technologies in 2018 – what it is, what works, what’s still missing – and facilitate discussion about what we might see in the future.

Speaker: Julie J. Colgan, CRM, IGP is a 20-year veteran of the Records Management and Information Governance profession and past president of ARMA International.  She is also a certified records manager (CRM) and a certified information governance professional (IGP).  Julie has been an active, passionate leader in driving the evolution of the profession as technology has quickly changed the landscape of professional practice. Her career has spanned a wide variety of roles in private, public and government entities as practitioner, consultant/advisor, and executive for software and service companies.
