RIM Project Management and Career Development: The presentation will focus on the fundamentals of project management, and, specifically, demonstrate how project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques can be employed to manage Records & Information Management projects – from small to large. Additionally, recommendations will be shared regarding enhancing career development goals by acquiring project management skills

Our Speaker Mary L. Clinton works for McKesson Corporation as the Director of Records & Information Management Solutions. McKesson is a pharmaceuticals distributor in North America with products going to more than 40,000 retail and institutional pharmacies throughout the US. The company is also major medical supplies wholesaler and offers software and technical services that help pharmacies, health care providers, and insurers manage supply chain, clinical, administrative, and financial operations. The company was found in 1883.

BIO: Mary L. Clinton is a native of Camden, South Carolina -- South Carolina’s oldest inland city. Prior to relocating to California in 2012, Ms. Clinton worked for 4 corporations in the health care and health insurance industries in South Carolina and Virginia. Most recently, Mary was under the employ of Amerigroup Corporation in Virginia Beach, Virginia, where she developed her passion for Records Management. Mary worked for BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina (BCBSSC) and its subsidiaries for 9 years. During her tenure at BCBSSC, she worked in Provider Education and entered the profession of Project Management. In 2005, Mary earned the Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification from the Project Management Institute®.
