California Wildfires - Back-to-School Help for Wildfire Victims

Dear Fellow ARMA Members,

At the time of this writing, California continues to burn. The Mendocino Complex Fire is the largest in the State’s history with full containment not expected still for another couple of weeks. In all, over 700,000 acres (more than twice the size of any US city in the lower 48)  have burned displacing thousands of families. A number of Californians have lost their lives including  several firefighters.

Every September as we kick off a new season of meetings, the ARMA Golden Gate Chapter donates back-to-school supplies to needy families in our area. In response to the devastation left by the disastrous fires, this year we are donating funds through the Red Cross to be distributed to families who have lost everything. Call 800-RED-CROSS to designate a specific amount or simply text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation billed to your wireless carrier fund, if you would like to express your compassion and support as well. You can also donate by going to the following link:

Anything you can share would be greatly appreciated.
