Gathering/RideSharing Meet up at 2:30 pm

Can you spare two hours to help the local community and earn a chance to win free registration to an all-day RIM seminar in SF?   This is your chance.  Did you know 1 in 4 residents in SF and Marin is in need of food assistance?  Volunteering for one shift helps to provide essential food assistance for 144,000 people who count on the Food Bank every week.   One volunteer from the evening’s volunteer shift will be selected to receive a free registration to the ARMA GG Spring Event*.

Have you ever had a secret desire to package produce, wear a hairnet, set up cardboard boxes or measure out dry goods?  Well here is your opportunity.  The Chapter has pledged to work 24 volunteer hours in January helping to process food at the SF Marin Food Bank in San Francisco.  The Food Bank is a 24/7 year around service.  Their work isn’t done when the holidays end.

If you’d like to give back to your community please join us on Thursday, January 18th, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the SF Food Bank. **  It is a simple, but fun way, to provide assistance to those in need.

* The winner will be chosen from volunteers who attend and enter their name in the “hat”.  Winner must be present to win.

** Volunteers will meet up at approx. 2:30 p.m. to shuttle over to the Food Bank.
